ABOUT ME
My path with photography began in the dark room of a high school elective class in upstate New York. My work evolved with me from personal, documenting my life and things around me, to conceptual through my education at GSU where I received my bachelor of fine arts. After graduating and discovering I enjoyed photographing people, especially young families, Claire Elise Photography was established. Shortly after I found myself in love with a very unique niche —birth photography. Currently I offer this service alongside two other amazing women (i’m lucky to call friends AND partners) through The Birth Story Collective.
I now live in Decatur, GA and have two girls, Greer (4) & Wren (3). The perspective I’ve gained through parenthood continues to inform and shape my process and work. Connecting with my clients in the same wild season of life, is one of the things is love most about my job.
