ABOUT ME
My path with photography began in the dark room of a high school elective class in upstate New York. My work evolved with me from personal, documenting my life and things around me, to conceptual through my education at GSU where I received my bachelor of fine arts. After graduating and discovering I enjoyed photographing people, especially young families, Claire Elise Photography was established. Shortly after I found myself in love with a very unique niche —birth photography. Currently I offer this service alongside two other amazing women (i’m lucky to call friends AND partners) through The Birth Story Collective.
I now live in Decatur, GA with my partner Bryan and our two daughters, Greer (4) & Wren (2). The perspective I’ve gained through parenthood continues to inform and shape my process and work. One of the things I love most about this job is connecting with other parents in in the same wild season of life!
